On March 26, 2020, the Florida Office of Financial Regulation issued an Omnibus Order that provides regulatory relief to industries regulated by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation due to COVID-19. For the securities industry, the Order provides a 45-day extension for the Form ADV annual updating amendment for investment advisers. The Order further grants a 45-day extension for firms with annual financial statement deadlines during the months of March and April 2020. OFR may issue subsequent orders extending deadlines as the world continues to fight COVID-19.
