It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our friend, partner and colleague, William (“Bill”) Winget, who passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2026.
Bill co-founded Winget Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP in 1993 and, over the next three decades, helped build the foundation of integrity, respect, collaboration and hard work that remains the bedrock of our firm’s culture. Throughout his distinguished career, he was a tireless advocate for his clients, a highly respected member of the legal community, and a trusted mentor and friend to countless attorneys and colleagues. His accessibility, generosity and willingness to help others reflected the very best qualities of both the legal profession and the person he was.
We have lost not only a founding partner, but also a dear friend and exceptional individual whose wisdom, character and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Bill’s influence is woven into the fabric of our firm and will continue to guide us for years to come. His legacy will not be forgotten.
