Biography

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Lawrence worked as a clerk on the floor of the Kansas City Board of Trade for a large commodities broker. Mr. Lawrence began his legal career with a large regional law firm in Kansas City, working on mergers and acquisitions, business formations, securities offerings, and corporate and partnership tax matters. Later, he became Associate General Counsel for a broker-dealer and registered investment advisor, overseeing a wide range of securities and investment-related litigation, along with varied corporate law matters. Since leaving his corporate legal role, Mr. Lawrence has litigated numerous securities litigation matters (in state and federal court and FINRA arbitration), employment related disputes, and complex commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Lawrence is located in and admitted to practice in Missouri. Mr. Lawrence is Of Counsel to Winget Spadafora Schwartzberg, LLP, primarily working with attorney’s from the firm’s Florida office.
