Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP is proud to announce that Carolyn D. Roch has joined the firm as Managing Partner of its Houston, Texas office. Carolyn brings a wealth of experience and expertise to WSS and we are thrilled to have her join us. Carolyn is an accomplished trial lawyer with over twenty-five (25) years of experience in complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and regulation, and professional liability and employment litigation. Her background includes first-chairing more than fifty (50) jury trials and successfully arguing numerous appellate matters. Carolyn’s securities practice includes representing financial services firms in recruiting and raiding cases, as well as investor actions before the FINRA Dispute Resolution. Carolyn has been named a “Rising Star” by Texas Monthly Magazine and a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by H Texas Magazine. Carolyn received her undergraduate and juris doctorate degrees from the University of Texas. Carolyn is admitted to practice in Texas and Washington.
We also are pleased to announce that Karen R. Morgan will be joining Carolyn and the firm as Senior Counsel in its Houston office. Karen brings over twenty-five (25) years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts with a focus on employment, securities, professional liability and unfair competition disputes. Karen graduated from Indiana University in 1989 with a B.A. in English. In 1992, Karen earned her J.D. from Louisiana State University. Karen is admitted to practice in Texas and Louisiana.
