Since joining Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP, Gabrielle has handled a broad range of professional liability, general liability, employment practice and construction defect litigation. Gabrielle’s practice has predominantly focused on representing professionals, including attorneys, architects, engineers, insurance brokers and real estate brokers, in various types of professional liability litigations. Gabrielle has also successfully defended employers and professionals before various administrative agencies in both New York and New Jersey, as well as on the Federal level, including the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”). Gabrielle’s ability to effectively communicate with clients and to fully evaluate the legal and factual issues presented in each matter, allow her to develop thorough, realistic and cost-effective litigation strategies for clients.
Prior to joining Winget, Spadafora & Schwartzberg, LLP, Gabrielle worked as a law clerk for a firm in the Federal Criminal Defense field, during which she developed case strategies and worked with lead counsel in seeing matters through trial, sentencing and/or plea negotiation. While in law school, Gabrielle worked as an intern with the Manhattan Legal Aid Society, where she represented indigent clients during criminal arraignments and conducted a bench trial in the Criminal Court of New York County. Gabrielle was also a member of New York Law School’s Moot Court Association.
