Biography
Charles “Chip” LaChaussee is a highly accomplished litigation attorney and Partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office who has defended claims against, and prosecuted claims on behalf of, broker-dealers almost his entire career. Mr. LaChaussee brings a unique perspective to his practice having previously worked in-house for a full service “wire house,” a bank-broker-dealer, and a regional broker-dealer. Mr. LaChaussee has significant experience handling matters in binding arbitrations throughout the country at FINRA, AAA, and Jams, having arbitrated or mediated hundreds of disputes to conclusion. He offers his financial services, corporate and individual clients sophisticated legal representation primarily in the areas of securities litigation, securities regulatory and enforcement actions, and third-party discovery and litigation matters. Mr. LaChaussee’s problem-solving approach to matters and ability to effectively evaluate a case at the outset allow him to develop realistic and cost-effective solutions for his clients. He also handles corporate and business issues arising in the area of employment litigation.
