Tim's principal practice area is complex civil litigation with an emphasis on employment matters, insurance products, and securities. He has successfully litigated cases to verdict in jury trials, and has first-chair experience defending financial professionals in enforcement actions before various regulatory agencies. Tim has also headed up corporate investigations into various employment issues from alleged discrimination to whistleblower actions.
In addition to his trial experience, Tim has achieved extraordinary results for his clients before a number of appellate courts, including the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit.
Tim received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2005, where he earned Dean's Honors and participated in the Hobbs Trial Advocacy Program. He received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from U.C. Santa Barbara, where he double-majored in history and art history.
Tim is admitted to practice law in California and United States District Courts for the Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California, as well as U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California.
